-
Waterville — A links laid across dramatic Atlantic coastline by Eddie Hackett and later refined by Tom Fazio, famous for the Mass Hole at the 12th.

-
Old Head — A dramatic clifftop course on a headland near Kinsale, with nine holes playing directly along ocean cliffs.

The trip splits between two hotels, each chosen for its proximity to the courses on the itinerary:
Killarney Plaza Hotel & Spa (Nights 1–5, June 6–11) — A polished 4-star hotel in the heart of Killarney beside Killarney National Park, with a spa, leisure centre, and choice of on-site dining.
Vaughan Lodge, Lahinch (Nights 6–7, June 11–13) — A welcoming 4-star boutique hotel a short walk from the Lahinch links and the Atlantic shoreline, known for its seafood-focused dining.
Both hotels are included in the package on a bed-and-breakfast basis.
-
Neither is required, but availability and cost vary significantly by course — note that Lahinch requires at least one forecaddie per group. Carts and caddies are paid locally in Euros and are not included in the package price.
-
Most courses require proof of a maximum handicap, and requirements can vary by course. If this may be a concern for any member of your group, please contact us before registering — you may be asked to show proof of handicap before playing, and courses can refuse play (without refund) if requirements aren't met.
-
A 50% deposit is required to book and is non-refundable. Cancelling more than 12 weeks before departure forfeits the deposit; cancelling within 12 weeks of departure is subject to a 100% charge. If a group member cancels, we'll do our best to find a replacement (subject to that person meeting course handicap requirements), which would relieve the financial obligation. Cancellations must be submitted in writing to john.hall@intowngolfclub.com.
-
Airfare is not included — all participants should book their own flights into and out of Shannon Airport (SNN) or plan to arrive at the Shannon Airport. All ground transportation during the trip (transfers between the airport, hotels, and golf courses) is included, based on the group traveling together.
-
Yes — on Saturday, June 12 (Lahinch day), a sightseeing trip to the Cliffs of Moher can be arranged for the morning, ahead of the afternoon tee time at Lahinch (from 3:18 PM).
-
Golf: Smart golf attire is expected — collared shirts, tailored trousers or shorts, soft spikes. A few clubhouses have specific rules: Ballybunion's clubhouse doesn't permit sneakers or golf shoes outside the Spike Bar, and Dooks asks for golf attire or smart casual.
Evenings: Smart casual is appropriate for most recommended restaurants.
Weather: Ireland's Atlantic coast in June can be cool and changeable — pack a waterproof layer and wind jacket.

Yes — strongly recommended, given the fully non-refundable nature of the trip. Outpost Overseas doesn't advise on or sell specific policies; on the England trip, previous travelers used golfsafe.travelsafe.com and travelexinsurance.com.
